EquiJet Announced As Official Equine Air Transportation for Live Oak International Combined Driving and Show Jumping Event
Ocala, Fla. – Mar. 7, 2018 – EquiJet is pleased to publicly announce that it will serve as the Official Equine Air Transportation sponsor for the Live Oak International horse show held in Ocala, Florida. Live Oak International is headed into its 27th year and is one of the largest Combined Driving and Show Jumping events in the world. This year, the tournament will be held from March 15 – 18, 2018 at the infamous and expansive Live Oak Plantation, owned by Charlotte C. Weber, mother of the event’s co-presidents, Chester Weber and Juliet W. Reid.
As a feature event of the competition, Live Oak International will host the last leg of the Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping North American League. The $100,000 CSI-W3* Longines FEI World Cup™ Jumping Qualifier Grand Prix, presented by Golden Ocala Golf and Equestrian Club, will be held the afternoon of Sunday, March 18 to cap off the busy weekend. The Grand Prix event marks the last chance for show jumping athletes to qualify for the Longines FEI World Cup™ Finals, which will be held in Paris this upcoming April. Seven U.S. Equestrian national driving championships will be decided at Live Oak International. Driving dressage, marathon and obstacles will take place Friday through Sunday, with the champions crowned Sunday afternoon.
