EquiJet Proudly Sponsors 2020 Ocala Horse Properties’ Eventing Prix Invitational

Ocala, Fla. – Feb. 20, 2020 – EquiJet is excited to formally announce its sponsorship of the 2020 Ocala Horse Properties (OHP) Eventing Grand Prix Invitational, at which it will serve as the Official Equine Air Transportation. The OHP Eventing Prix Invitational, held on Tuesday, March 3, will showcase top-ranked event riders show jumping against the clock for $20,000 in prize money, plus the added bonus prize of a $5,000 flight voucher courtesy of EquiJet. The entire EquiJet team is eager to see who wins the prize package, as well as where they choose to fly with their horses!

Now in its seventh year, the 2020 OHP Eventing Grand Prix Invitational is enjoying its first year sanctioned as a United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) event, allowing the Invitational to be open to competitors from all countries. Now with international exhibitors open to enter, EquiJet’s flight voucher could be particularly useful for a rider looking to head home or continue on to the next competition. Launched in 2013 by Max Corcoran, current United States Eventing Association president, and Olympic show jumper/event rider Scott Keach, who are based out of Southern Cross Equestrian, the contest was created to fill a need for event riders to compete in an atmosphere and pressure experienced at the grand prix show jumping level.

This year, a field of no less than 34 horse-and-rider combinations will compete over an expert track at Southern Cross Equestrian, located just outside Ocala, Florida. For 2020, Chris Barnard will return as course designer, and EQTV will produce the livestream with international rider, trainer and judge, Cathy Wieschhoff and a special guest on the microphone. World-renowned Olympic and FEI commentator John Kyle will keep spectators informed with his wealth of knowledge over the live feed.

One of the major equestrian hubs in the country, Ocala is a vital business location for EquiJet as many of its clients spend large portions of their year in town.
