EquiJet is excited to introduce Paul Zamierowski, EquiJet’s Logistics Operations Manager for the Miami Market.

A native of New England, Paul began riding horses at the age of 5 and subsequently grew to be a well-rounded horseman with experience in three-day eventing, foxhunting and dressage. Currently, he is an amateur dressage rider who splits his time between Florida and New Jersey. Paul met the owners of EquiJet, Bastian Schroeder and Margot Peroni, three years ago and started working for the company shortly thereafter.

As the Logistics Operations Manager for the Miami Market, Paul is responsible for a variety of duties to ensure the safe and structured shipping of horses into and out of the Miami International Airport (MIA), with many of those animals either imported or exported internationally. In addition to coordinating proper paperwork with U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (USCBP), Paul also registers horses at the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Export Center and manages the distribution of equine passports. On the ground, he escort horses to the export facility and assists loading horses into the jet stalls, plus greets imported horses as they are offloaded and safely moved to the quarantine barn. One of the final steps in the shipping process, Paul orchestrates quarantine releases and the journeys to the horses’ new homes.
